Dara & Jonathan | A Greenwich Village Rooftop Wedding, NYC

Dara & Jonathan's Greenwich Village rooftop wedding was the perfect combination of sentimental and theatrical.  The private residence in which Dara and Jonathan got ready for the ceremony is itself a preserved piece of New York City history. Nestled in the center of Greenwich Village, the building has been owned and preserved by the same family since the early 1900s. Every architectural detail brought with it an emotional experience imagining the life that has been experienced within its walls. It was the perfect space for Dara and Jonathan, a director and actor, to commit their lives to one another.

As the sun crested above the New York City skyscrapers, Dara & Jonathan had a heartfelt ceremony, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Dara and Jonathan's vows left family and friends reaching for tissues and celebrating with loud cheers. Following the rooftop ceremony the couple lead a parade through Greenwich Village with kazoos, streamers and loud cheers as they walked to Bobo for their reception.

We think you’ll agree that these two are electric and share something very special. Their dynamic and tender relationship with their family and friends is inspiring. The amazing Bobo prepared the most exquisite French brunch with Nichole Renaud's ethereal soprano voice and her one of a kind transparent luminous accordion as the perfect background music to a beautiful culinary experience.

There’s no doubt lasting memories were made that day, and I am so glad I was there to capture them.

Congratulations, Dara & Jonathan!
